Fernando Torres considering his future....

Torres is finished, I honestly don't see why people want a striker who's been suffering from a lack of confidence for 2 years. That's not just a blip, that's a huge part of his career and a move to a club with the high profile of City wouldn't help him one bit.

Torres 3 years ago? Yes. Torres now ? Not a fucking chance.

I agree. Has gone a similar way to how Owen went with their initial injuries. Torres was never the fastest player but he got that injury, Liverpool supposedly played him for a long spell carrying this injury and then Chelsea bought him soon after.

These days he looks very slow, with very little confidence. Dzeko is a confidence player, and to have two on your books that need games and the opportunity to score goals to build belief is a risky move at our newfound level.

It's a no from me, rather move for Higuain who I rate (and another Argentinian, will find it easier to settle with the contingent we have).

You serious?

Still don't see why we need another striker. But if we were to buy one, I would love it to be Torres. Superb £20m signing.

He was a fantastic player but I think last night emphasised his brittle confidence. He clearly refused to take a penalty. A striker without the bottle to take a pen is not what ee need.

Can think of at least five strikers who would be better investments for us. Also he's unhappy at not playing enough games for Chelsea, imagine he lost form here with Aguero, Balotelli, and one of Tevez/Dzeko as competition.

I read that he offered to take one but Di Matteo didn't trust him and told him no.

I can only imagine Chelsea's joy if they found out we wanted to sign him. Thankfully we have more sense than that.

Hes fucking shite hence the reason why hes only scored 6 league goals this season

He scored as many goals in total as Drogba, I think.
Torres has played 8 times more though plus its not just his goal tally ive watched alot of chelsea games this season and for the most part his performances have been dire.

I don't think I would want him... 4 years ago Torres yes, but present day Torres no.

He'd cost a lot of money and his wages would be very high, he's also 28 or 29 so he's no spring chicken and wouldn't have any real sell on value. If he's complaining about not getting time at Chelsea (which I haven't heard about, to be fair to him) than I don't see how he would be happy with his playing time here.

Plus I just think he's lost it, the injuries have done him in. Still a good player but he's a shadow of his former self. I know they say form is temporary and class is permanent but his form has been pretty bad for the best part of 3 years now so make of that what you will.

Torres NOW????
He wasn't even called for the Spanish National Team due to his lack of form, and you want to sign him for City NOW??

Too risky, imo.

Is he even better then Guidetti nowdays? I'm serious :D

I'd hedge a big bet on Guidetti scoring more goals than Torres if given a chance next season. Torres just seems to lack any hunger.

World class 4 years ago, still quality off the ball, but doubtful wether he'll ever regain his goalscoring touch
