Silva is better than Messi isn't he.

He's so so good that he couldn't get into Spain's team in the World Cup. If he was that good shouldn't he feature instead of Pedro and Navas?

I know he's a good player, an intelligent midfielder, but I don't think he's top class (top class midfielders for me are Xavi, Iniesta, Gerrard, Fàbregas, Lampard, someone who can decide a game on his own).

regardless of whether it was gonna be us he moved to or someone else, the fact is he'd have had more chance of winning something there than he would at Liverpool.
