Fernando Torres about Liverpool: "This is my team, my city and Anfield is my pitch."

"I really feel at home here. From the first day I came right up until today I have felt that Anfield is my home. I feel like I am from Liverpool."

"For me, Anfield is the best place in England."

Did he have a Stanley pushed up against his throat when he said that?

Dont worry about it lar, when he goes, you lot can have yet another day of mourning!

Time to Rob his house maybe before he leaves? Not that it has ever stopped your lot before eh?

Obviously he's staying there forever. He'll never leave. Or he's a liar. Lets see if he's still there in five years.

(Or six months)

according to this mornings men, city are losing the race to sign torres, they have had firm indications that torres wants champions league football and despite being temped by citys record breaking wage offer prefers chelsea. time to move on before we look stupid.

i'm quite sure city knew what torres intentions are/were before the game, so him wearing the liverpool scarf after the game would of made no difference.

and as ajay says(if you believe him) he is only third choice anyway.

yes i know they are crap but just putting what they are saying today.

great player when fit, and i do admire his loyalalty. but do we want someone who is struggling with injury, another rsc.

not really.

we are still at the start of our journey and some delusional people may snigger at some of our attempts to attract players of really world class ability.

to them.
look at where we have come from in such a short space of time, and look where your clubs are in that same time scale. we are attracting better players while your teams cant keep hold of the good players you have. its great for us maybe not so great for you. nothing lasts forever hopefully we will enjoy a long spell of success when it eventually arrive. but sooner or later it will its inevitable
