People need to remember he has been constantly rushed back prematurely from injury for the last two years by Liverpool, when he was at Atletico he has a decent injury record.

If he were to come here he would be given time to reach full fitness and not be relied on so heavily.

If we sign Torres we will 100% be in for the title and would have a decent chance of wining it imo, with a few additions at the back aswell.

we are in for dzeko again, what i find interesting is that dzeko has been offered everything, but still hasn't said yes or no, maybe were waiting on the go ahead of another transfer before we do this one?

i don't see why people wouldnt want him.
One of the best strikers in the prem, was able to shine in a shit liverpool side.
all players are injury prone look at shrek he was injured and still scoring goals.

spot on m8 we have the firepower to cover torres untill 100% then he and the others can take us to glory hopefully!

So am i right in assuming alls we have to do with regards torres is convince him (easier said than done) and with regards dzeko all we have to do is agree a fee with wolfsburg?
So in your opinion freestyler what is the most likely series of events?
Do you know anything about any other targets?

Spot on, Torres has been dragged back into the Liverpool side time and time again when not fully fit. No wonder he kept getting injured again.

But when your backup striker choice for Torres is Kuyt or N'Gog then you're better off playing Torres with one leg in a plaster cast and an arm in a sling - he'd probably still score more goals than them two.

With Tevez, Ade, Bellers (and possibly Dzeko) we can rotate any amount of strikers or provide injury cover to allow someone to get back to full fitness.

My only concern if we sign all these is giving all of them enough games so they don't throw their toys out of the pram...

I reiterate! Torres is our No. 1 target!!

Dzeko is not at the WC and any negotiations could have seen this player signed at any time as there are no constraints with players actively not involved in the WC. Why come out and be available to a bigger club if there is a stone block in the way??
I have it on good authority that Fernando Torres will not make a move (or his agents will say anything) until the WHOLE world cup is over!!
So don't pray that Spain are eliminated tomorrow against Parguay as it will mean nothing!
The bargining will start when the WC is finished but from what I've heard (from very high up in Citys heirachy) is that Torres will be receptive to a move here!
