I'll put my tin hat on for this but personally I'd prefer Dzeko, he WANTS to play for City and would try his bollox off and do very well IMO, Torres looks like his best days are behind him, he's injury prone and lets be honest we are probably not top of his list

I agree, it would be much more satisfying to see us bring in a player unproven in the Prem and turn him into a superstar than to sign someone who we know can do it already. Would be cheaper too!

good point, I never thought of that but as we found with RSC and Lescott they're not much use, no matter how good they are, if they are injured. We may make a few quid and be spoke about more but we'd still be short up front.

Any player you buy is a gamble when it comes to injuries...........he's just come back from an Op and i'm sure with a good Pre-season behind him he'll be sharp and raring to go again, class is permanent.
Barca are going for Fabregas after he's just come back from a broken leg.........if you get my drift?

A minor leg break, torres has been injured virtually all last season and still looks off the pace, class is permanent but fitness and the body isn't, I'm not saying I wouldn't want him but I'd be wary of getting him, I believe his best days are behind him, hope we sign him AND I'm wrong.
