YES I'M A TWUNT :o)

Works better when the full 'link' is highlighted lol

I still clicked on it though :(

gta feeling wel have a go, wed get it back in shirt sales in two seasons anyway, wed be unstoppable with him

We need players to supply the goals, nothing else. A fourth choice striker would be good (anyone but Jo - Guidetti is better) but its the service that is lacking.

I'd have Torres just to play on the wing if need be. why not plus would be funny to see the look on Chelsea's face although I doubt we are after him

Anything above £35 million is stupid, anything above £40 million and we will need to invest in a good few shrinks as Kaldoon and Cook will have gone insane!

Dzeko (much better scoring record) is younger and cost £27 million, Tevez only cost us £25 million, David Villa - probably the worlds best striker cost £35 million - so why on earth would we think of buying a striker who is injury prone & has been out of form for over a year (aside from a recent couple of goals) for such a high fee??

Also, for people who think that shirt sales will pay for his transfer, you do realise that (assuming City get £10 per shirt which is probably an overgenerous amount)
at £50 million we would have to sell atleast 5 million extra shirts to cover this.

Very unrealistic seeing as, between 2005 - 2009 United & Real Madrid sold an average of 1.2 million shirts a season.

Erm..........
Liverpool striker Fernando Torres' surname was the most popular to feature on replica Premier League shirts printed worldwide last season.

its the extra shirts that his name sells aswell thou

Surely we should go all out to get Torres now, we only have Teves and Dzeko fit Ballotelli may be out for a while and Torres is world class and premiership proven.
We have the FA cup Europe and the prem we need class and he is class

Also what if Ballo's injury is not improving plus ballo can and does play quite wide, Teves plays wide central anywhere

Tomorrow could be interesting especially if Ballo has had a bad report in the USA
