Brother Tolmie sometimes get's carried away with himself.

Mummy Tolmie has often had to sit him down in a dark corner to calm down.

Just go in with £40 mill for dzeko & £60 mill for torres..santa cruz & lazy twat adeybayor gone in jan anyway so need both of them, money talks so just do it city!!!

Yeah and we'd only have FIFA to think about then, money talks shit sometimes.

Because FIFA is not corrupt Qater hosting the world cup proves it.

If he comes and stays injury free then great, if he doesn't then someone else will. In City we trust, gone are the days of relegation, in the Sheik we trust.

About a month ago I put £50 on him coming to city, gutted the so called "ITKs" are saying its Dzeko we're getting.

Some good quotes from Torres and Reina before the start of last season.

Torres told Saturday's Daily Mail. "Seriously, how can they pay 100 million pounds for Kaka? Big players want to win trophies and Manchester City is not even in the race for trophies in England. They are fighting to stay in the Premier League, or to get to the middle of the table,"

Reina said: "Apparently, they moved for the money. That is their decision but I also think it is their problem if they cannot see that Liverpool is a bigger club.

"It's up to them what they do but let me tell them that I am very proud to play for Liverpool. We can offer European football and I think that should have been a consideration for them.

"Everybody knows what it is to play for Liverpool. It's a pleasure and a tremendous honour. I am surprised they didn't consider these things. Some things in a player's career should be more important than money."

He said: "At Liverpool, you have to be fighting for the title and that's what we will be doing this year.

"We are involved in four competitions and just targeting one of them is not enough. The big one of the Premier League would definitely be best."

Also reason to leave him at Liverpool where he can bask in their past glory. We don't need anyone who doesn't want to come. Let Dzeko lift our trophies while Torres fights to keep Liverpool above the relegation zone.

Thought for ages he will come here but is it about time I abandoned that thought? Or do you still think we will get him?

Would love it if we got him though. I think he would represent better value at £50 million than Dzeko would at £27 million.

i think you couldnt be more wrong.

i would like to have torres, but lets not give the dippers 50m that he isnt worth.

a few years ago yes, now no. maybe 30.

i'd rather let chelseas shocking recent form panic abrmovich into shelling out £30+ mil for him and watch him struggle to regain anything like his form of 2008-2009.

even when he looked like he wanted to actually play for liverpoo his injury record was questionable and ive never been happy with us being linked to him. too much of a risk, rather go with younger fitter hungrier cheaper DZEKO!

On current form, he isn't worth £50m. But I think the reason for his current form is because of the poor form of the team, and that he wants to go. Once he does leave I think we will see him back to his world class best.
Problem with £30m is, I couldn't see Liverpool taking it. Although it would be absolutely brilliant if we could get him at that price.

He's a horrible twat. Amongst the worst characters in the game imo. I wouldn't ever consider signing Terry, Gerrard, Torres, Fabergas or Van Persie (Rooney used be in that list but now I just feel sorry for the poor lad stuck in United with their hoodies at the gates).

Beggars couldn't be choosers in the past but no more. Now we should be looking for youth, ability and character.

true

he would sell a hell of alotta shirts aswell... which may justify a price.

also, its no secret those dipper owners are there to make money, big chance they could just pocket the 50m anyway.

You can't blame him for not being arsed playing for the dippers. None of them look like they want to be there. He is a class act playing in a crap team. Not worth anywhere near 50 mill though. Crocky and a four pack of Guinness?
