I think selling our own players has a lot to do with it - this £49m nett restriction requires some significant cash coming in to comply.MeatHunterrr said:Taylor said:Slowest transfer in the history of mankind!
Possibly...its frustrating that every day there is rumour that edging closer, verge of signing but nothing happens..

Left black 8 said:I dont think he will instantly become a regular like Fernandinho did last season.
But I can see we play with a midfield trio more next season and he will be part of it, especially in CL games and in trickier PL away games not just the big ones like Chelsea, Anfield, Emirates but maybe the likes of Soton, Everton etc.
Certainly a Fernandinho-Yaya duo is not good enough in CL later stages not defensive enough or if their roles ares restricted than not attacking enough.
But a trio with them and Fernando could tick all the boxes.
Still the majority of our games will be with two strikers otherwise its not possible to rotate 4 strikers and hopefully we dont have as many injuries for Jovetic/Aguero next time and that means they will have to play more than last time so expect Negredo playing less.
Wonder tho Garcia/Rodwell playing time is gonna be halved but for Rodwell it hardly can be halved, he featured in 5 PL games only one start from them, and if we have an injury to Yaya or Fernandinho Fernando will jump in or Garcia.
Rodwell does better if he leaves on loan.

I also think it's possible we may see Yaya play a lot more games further forward.
Don't think so, Sagna free, Fernando £16 million (incl addons?) and Benatia (say) £20 million (I'm not buying the silly money being quoted).George Hannah said:I think selling our own players has a lot to do with it - this £49m nett restriction requires some significant cash coming in to comply.MeatHunterrr said:Taylor said:Slowest transfer in the history of mankind!
