He had a deal to renew his contract with Porto and you know what happened? Money, people. Money, Money, Money.

He was offered a 200.000 euros/month contract, the captain band and we would be one of the locker room leaders.

He was gonna accept it, but the guy who represents him told him not to, because there was a lot of money from....guess who? Your club.

And that's not the worst part. The worst part is that you're gonna sign a player that can't stand the bench. If you bench him, he will explode and probably ask for a transfer.

So, after this, the only thing i've got to say to you his: Good luck, you're gonna need it.

If he is a genuinely world class player like you suggest, it serves your club right for not paying him his market value. Same with Mangala it's ok a club valuing a player at £45 million but any agent worth their keep would be making sure their client is on a wage that matches the clubs valuation.

Were taking mangala and fernando signings to the wire if we are of course signing them. Should here some concrete evidence of it by tomorrow morning or I cant see it happening. Also a lot of our signings have been announced at around 10pm so maybe in a few hours we will know more........

Only because there two big money deals and they are not usually left till the end of the window. I know they do happen like robhinio but would expect to hear something by morning.
Why is it to the wire? We can sign a player at 10:59pm as long as the paperwork is done. It'd more than likely be signed "subject to medical" but non the less there's still plenty of time to sign anyone if fee's are agreed & as far as we know they could be. The fact City have cancelled a photoshoot tomorrow & stated the reason being they "don't want any outside intereferance" at the training ground tomorrow would suggest something is happening.

Yaya Toure will presumably be away for much of January and some of February 2015, at the ACON, so he would be guaranteed game time then as well

Not so sure. Lot's of rumors that he will retire internationally after the World Cup.

Having Nasri, Aguero, Dzeko, Jovetic, Milner, Rodwell and more at our disposal seems great in theory. But if this is a player that demands playing time we could have a problem.
