Has Demichelis had obscene treatment? Haven't seen it if he has.

No, not much yet... but give them time. It took them a while to turn against Soriano and Txiki (who are both doing good jobs contrary to all this bollox these people are coming out with - god forbid we go a few months without a new scapegoat or three), and of course "Clueless Manager" Pellegrini.

That's a very lazy argument LoveCity and also one from someone with entrenched views on the subject matter.
Whereas of course you are entirely objective and open-minded...

Haha. It's funny isn't it. Not in the least bit entrenched in his own warped views.

I am finding the criticism towards both Soriano and Txiki hard to justify.

My view of Soriano is that his brief is to move City forward from a business perspective. By any measure this has been a resounding success. City are poised to overtake Bayern in terms of revenue. Bayern are currently fifth on a world wide basis and Tom Glick expects City to overtake Bayern in the next 12 months. Soriano is also overseeing the amazing development of the Etihad environs, including the stadium expansion.

I am very confident that under Soriano's leadership the world wide brand recognition of City will grow exponentially and that in seasons to come City will be one of the leading sports brands in the world.

As Director of Football Txiki occupies a role that many of the leading European teams now utilise. He drafted in MP, and delivered The Beast, Fernandinho, Navas and Jovetic. In Negredo and Fernandinho he has signed two players who could well end up as City legends. Despite all the criticism, it is the best I have seen Silva, Nasri, and Kun play since they came to City. When those three are on the park and firing, City's play is sublime. MP has to be given credit for this.

Often with City fans they perceive the glass as half empty rather than half full. Football reflects life. There are always ups and downs. In my view the big picture is all positive.

I am sure that a couple of away victories will sway many of the Blue Mooners around very quickly!

When compared to you - yes.

I'm entirely open minded about Pellegrini. I like some of the things he's done but I'm worried about a number of other things he's done and our away form in general. In the same way I'm happy to praise Mancini for his achievements and criticise him for his failures.

But I also know it takes time for a new manager to fully implement his ideas and no one has a divine right to win every game. So while I'm a bit nervous at the moment I'm not going to panic until I see where we are around March.

But whatever happens, FS & TB will still be around for a while as they have an entirely different job to do. Anyone who doesn't understand that is, frankly, not too bright.

I always admire those of you who try to reason with the resident window lickers. TGR's understanding of football is up there with that of the floater I left in my bog this morning!

Unfortunately by March if they realise they have dropped one, it will be too bloody late
