The club was pursuing Pepe when Demichelis moved on a free (close to 2 months before Demichelis joined City, so not 'a few weeks'), when Real Madrid refused to sell Pepe (largely because of Varane's injury), they turned to Demichelis with time running out.

Unfortunately, these "clowns" (one of whom is doing a remarkable job as CEO) are not in possession of a time machine.

If thats true then thats a poor piece of business.

I know MP would have wanted him as cover as he knew him well and in fairness he hasn't settled in too badly.

32 and you wonder whether he joined MP in a few drags behind the stadium after games but lets face it the theory was if Cardiff scored three we would score four.

As soon as you call people like Soriano and Begiristain clowns you lose the argument. Disagree with some of their decisions by all means but to call 2 men who could walk into almost any job they wanted in football clowns is just stupid.

The clowns get all the laughs but never get the girl haven't you heard the song GDM. or am I switching forums already and we should be downstairs?

Relevance to the above to and MP well I have to laugh at our away form this year because if I didn't I would cry.

Yeah currently on a train back up north from that there London ... I'm back to Paris on Tuesday though. I'm on my french number - managed to leave my UK sim in Paris!
