If we'd have kept boeteng, zabba probably wouldn't have become the hero he is. I think sane has seen that the grass isn't greener on the other side and I think torres will be the same. I'm not sure what they have offered him but I can see Barca becoming the United of La Liga. They need a serious rebuild, sacking managers for fun and won't challenge seriously for at least 5 years

Boateng was a miserable failure in the premier league, we were happy to get rid as long as the arrogant criminals at Bayern paid what he was worth.
They were publicly outraged that we didn’t just roll over like German clubs and accept their first offer. Rumenigge couldn’t believe it

The injury inflicted from an air stewardess sums up his time with us.
 
Great business for us. Got a good year out of him and sold an injured fringe player for a £30m profit. What’s not to like.

He could of course end up as one of Europe’s top strikers but it’s far too early to tell so if we had held on it is possible his value could have doubled or trebled but it’s all ifs and buts, and sometimes it’s better to cash in especially as he wasn’t a critical member of the squad this season.
 
we made money, got some good goals from him, did good business. I dont think he was as good as made out, but good player none the less. Thanks for the cash back towards a hefty striker ferran, you are welcome to come to the etihad anytime to see some good football.
