We have been well rewarded - it's a fair price. I am disappointed he has gone, and I have made that clear, but if someone doesn't want to be here and the price is fair then we should always let them go. If it gives more opportunity to Cole Palmer and James McAtee then I am definitely all for it.

This is all about internal politics at Barca, the new President is basically trying to convince their members that everything is fine and that they are still big players. Whereas the reality is that as a business they are utterly insolvent and if they were in the UK they would be in administration. That is before you consider that the much vaunted stadium is basically falling down and in need of a near total rebuild.

I thought I'd read on here that they had plans for a refurb on the ground, again they must have found 1bn behind the cushions

Seems we made a very good profit from Ferran, how many times have we been made a 'stepping stone' in recent years?

That would make them easier to sell not harder.

Not sure about stepping stone quote, likely out of context from Torres, but I see City more of a snakes and ladders move. Climb up the ladder whilst with the blues, slide down the snake with a move away.
