Ferran Torres

Great through ball.

I think his overall ability to pass is quite similar to kevin, with that amazing crossing ability as well.

Thought that after watching 3 highlight videos of him last night. Great burst of pace and skill to jink past players before crossing or passing.

Must be a frustrated lad as well because he lays some absolute passes only for the forwards to miss time after time. Sort of reminds me of City on certain match days. Haha. He’ll fit right in if the club are interested. Not blistering quick but quicker than the current wingers bar Sterling. Very good dribbler too.

He’ll have a good career even if he doesn’t come to City. As long as he has the right coach and team around him.

Worth noting that Valencia play a flat 4 4 2 formation most games, so while Torres does play on the wing, he's a lot deeper and has a lot more defending to do than our wingers. His numbers should shoot up playing further forward, due to the quality of his final ball. Also why his pace doesn't concern me. He's quite quick off the mark and long distance, certainly faster than Mahrez, Foden and Bernardo.

I think somebody put it well that he's somewhere between Mahrez and Sane.

Solid first half at Valencia.

Can't be bothered reading through the entire thread so not sure if this has been posted before, but here's an article from last year where he said he wanted to play on the left:

"Valencia CF already knows that I want to play on the left wing next season, in that position I can give my maximum level and I am ready to take responsibility. I want to be important and I feel ready to start."

He's been playing on the right because Guedes plays on the left and is undroppable for them

this is perfect because we need someone to rotate with Sterling on the left.
