If he doesn’t make any subs he’ll get slated for it.
Look at the bench and there’s not that many options to bring fresh legs on.
Dias?
He’s has been out for ages and was barely ripping up trees before he was injured.
He might not even be ready to play, like Kev wasn’t when he was on the bench.
Walker?
He’s been a liability.
Savinho?
He’s not exactly a defensively minded.
Then it’s the kids.
I’ll agree that in hindsight he shouldn’t have made all 3 subs together but they were subs he needed to make.
Is it really ‘all on Pep’ cos he stupidly thought the current premier league champions couldn’t see out a game where we 3-0 up with 15 minutes left to play?
Against a team we in full control against too.

If we don't make the top 4 we become much less important to the PL and the cartel might even have the juice to entice the hearing panel to fuck us right off.
Txiki AND PEP played with fire relying on such a small squad to stay healthy knowing many of our key players are older and in decline and that our depth players are not up to standard. This knowing Pep is not the guy to be driving a truck if need be. He's proven numerous times over he can roll with a Ferrari but doing more with less is just not his forte. He can't get this side to grind out anything. Pep is built for a squad with elite talent all over the pitch. He has no chance of getting anything out of this shell of a squad that he and Txiki chose to go with. These guys aren't going to overcome his idiosyncrasies or go on any long unbeaten runs that we seem to need every year. One needs a squad of elite players to do that.
It is what it is boys and girls. Why the club chose this path or allowed Pep and Txiki to do so God only knows,

I agree with a lot of that. All elite managers evolve or fade away. Look at Mourhino. He was lauded as the finest coach in the world at one point, a tactical genius. Now he's regarded as a dinosaur. Not for one minute do I put Pep in that category but he has to be a bit more flexible at times like this. He's right when he says these tactics have brought all the success but there have been odd signs they've been rumbled even without our injuries. The problem is our whole identity is those tactics and I think it would be impossible to be more pragmatic even if he wanted to. It took a few batterings against Liverpool before he tightened it up and got more successful against them. Let's hope he pulls something out of the fire on Sunday but I'm not hopeful.
 
The Boys in Blue didn’t give in. They fought to the end. It just wasn’t to be but it was not the team’s fault, it was my fault.

I celebrated too soon in the match day thread and then went to make a cup of tea and it all went wrong. I apologise. And will think of a suitable punishment very soon.

Thank you, City. Thank you lads. Thank you fans. We will come back stronger and more prepared.
After all we are MANCHESTER CITY, THE BEST TEAM IN THE LAND AND ALL THE WORLD. :-) :-)

I guess in your daytime work you aren’t a motivational speaker.
 
No use saying drop X, drop Y. We are already down to the bare bones, which is the only reason one of two of them are playing.

And if we’re looking for salvation in the transfer window, there’s quite a bit of water to go under the bridge before then.

We’re gonna have to work through this patch with the same group of players and the same manager.
