the price we pay for not finishing top8 on this new CL table will be bad. extra two games vs maybe a decent team in February. do we want that given our fixture is like this around that time:
Arsenal-City
City-Newcastle
City-dippers
Spurs-City
Forest-City
last thing we need are two legged games vs any decent European side put into this set of fixtures while Arse and dippers are relaxing. could even be PSG as they are about to finish on the shit end of the table something like 21-22-23-24th place meaning someone from 9-10-11-12th will get them.
also we probably get one injury on each of these extra ties.

Haaland and Nunes should be able to trouble them in behind.We haven’t got the pace to play on the break, I agree with defending a bit deeper though

I'm afraid that is looking increasingly like the reality. To be honest I'd rather not make the playoffs. This squad are miles off winning it unless there's a miraculous turnaround in form and an injury free remainder of the season.
