Imo
I don't can't see us winning anything this season
There is something very wrong be it the court case or other things around the club
Before any of you start sending me abuse or whatever
Have a think
I've seen City since 1970
All the way through to today, but I really feel there are problems that are now apparent

Feck all we can do about it - can’t control it so why worry. Just enjoy it again when it comes good. Football isn’t an exact science. A few bad signings despite all the due diligence, injuries, carrying a small quality squad, and coming off the back of 4 gruelling years physically and mentally. Thats football my friends.

Tonight was the first time I’m not sure you could apportion any blame on our utter shiteness to Rodri not being there

Of course not but theres no denying that to date it hasn`t done us any harm.
And theres the problem..
Resting on Laurel's...

Teams all over Europe have caught up to big bad city..

If we don't have our absolute best 11 on the pitch and all on form we're fucked as far as I'm concerned.

People need to wake up that teams have been being coached to combat us for years and now they have caught up..

I noticed from the first kick off they kicked the ball long to our left back area.. tells you all you need to know how teams are beating us.

Lewis v Salah? No thanks
Ake on Salah. Akanji on Diaz for me. Grealish can help to double-up on Salah.

KDB , Nunes , Haaland on transition. The game might actually suit us more than most as it could be very end to end. High scoring.

Need to try and exploit Robertson. I think that could be down to Savinho.

Well to be honest. I’d say Dias being back could’ve solved many of those issues.

Difficult to work out who brings the more faults to the defence in Walker or Lewis.

I feel like some are getting very ahead of themselves from his tough run of results. We could have easily won 3-0 today. Instead ended up 3-3. I did see signs of the old City at times today though. We looked very controlled particularly in the first half.

I know the players are getting the bulk of the blame but some of it does lie with Pep. The amount of big chances we create, the vulnerability we have on the counter is down to his shape. Gvardiol and Lewis are often stranded up the and cannot make the ground up we need. I think we will see another tactical evolution soon.

This is still a world class squad. Yes aging in areas. Yes injury prone. Yes has holes within it. But our players have pulled the rabbit out the hat time and time again. Luck isn’t on our side right now. If Haaland nets the 2 at Spurs the game is different.

Credit to Ake aswell coming out in the presser and holding himself well in the media. I think we reinstate the defence of Ake - Dias - Stones - Akanji they are by far our best defenders.

I also think we have to continue to utilise Nunes , Savinho and Doku they give us another edge while players like Bernardo , Grealish etc are perhaps a bit stale on the ball and keep the ball well but don’t penetrate in the way the others do.
I think the bigger problem is for a long time now we are conceding goals far too easy, opposition need very few chances to score and this has been the case for sometime.
Truth is it's not just one thing, there a multiple causes....
1 Rodri, no explanation required
2 Conditioning, why our fitness levels are so bad is hard to fathom. We just do not seem to have a 90+ min performance in us. I can just about remember when the last 15 would be when we'd smash teams. Now we are totally fucked in most games after 60 mins.
3 Injuries, missing Stones, Ake, Kova, Dias, KDB, Doku as well as Rodri and Bobb has not helped.
4 Loss of Form, Gundo, Foden, Bernardo, Grealish, Gvardiol and Akanji all way way off top form, why so many at once? once again unfathomable
5 Finishing, the number of chances we fail to convert is off the scale, the loss of Alvarez's GAs is huge, without Erling we'd be totally screwed
6 Sounds wimpish, but convinced we have been as unlucky as I have ever seen. Tonight eg those deflections in the first all going out, with a bit of luck we could have gone in 4 up at HT.
7 Forced into playing younger, inexperienced players like JSP, OReilly and Wright in a shit storm is the worst possible scenario. They would have to be exceptionally good to deal with the challenge.
1 2 3 4 are all closely related - solved by bigger squad, less injuries

You have to accept the players are mentally and physically fatigued. These aren’t robots but we are flogging them and they are running on empty

It explains the loss of form and certainly the drop off in the second half of games and the stupid mistakes… cut those out and Feyenoord wouldn’t have got a sniff tonight

Ederson

Ake
Dias
Akanji
Walker

Gundogan
Nunes
KDB

Grealish
Haaland
Foden

I think I’d go with this. I think Pep may drop Nunes out and go with Savinho. If Doku is fit enough he would be in for me.

Very reluctant in putting Walker in.
