Totally agree.

We should look back at our past fondly but not keep referring to it and living in it.

That's why we are in the mess we are in!!

The recruitment team has not looked forward one bit. They have been stealing a wage, living on the past performances of the likes of Walker, Gundo, KDB, Bernie etc...

Everyone could see that the decline was gonna come at some point with this squad. They've done very little to address that!

Liverpool did it with the likes of Gerrard and Henderson. They now look like they have planned for the future by buying smart over the last few transfers windows.

January will be too late for our season unfortunately.

The only positive to take from this season is hopefully it's a huge wake up call to the money men and the transfer team to never allow this to happen again.

The net spend trophy they are obsessed with has probably cost us a few more important ones!!!

A bit of revisionism here with regards to Liverpool.

They left their midfield too long which was why they ended up in the Europa a couple of years ago. The recent buys they’ve made have been about correcting that.

The difference with City is that the media ignore it when it’s Liverpool. They even spent quite a bit of the season in mid table before pushing up to 5th.

I agree with him getting rid of grealish and silva . I LOVE them both to bits, but they both seem to have fallen off a cliff and produce zero.

Both doku and savio have a lot of improving and in dokus case i dont think its there

This is the monumental fuck up in recruitment over 2/3 seasons. We are left with aging players and replacements a million miles off
