Feyenoord (H) | CL | Post Match Thread

We won't lose 5 or 6 to Liverpool, slot isn't that type of manager if they go 2/3 nil up he will sub Salah , trent etc off

There needs to be consequences for really poor performances. Walker Saturday and Ederson tonight… both should be dropped until they improve their attitudes.

The team structure fell to pieces once the changes were made. McAtee genuinely looked like he didn't have a clue where he was meant to be playing - we can debate whether he's at our level all we want, but he's an England u21 international and clearly talented - but on that showing looked like Nery fucking Castillo

It all came from one absolutely lazy piece of play from Gvardiol, whose confidence looks shot. As a comparison, their right winger turned into fucking Robben once he'd got the tap in

Anyone think it’s over? I mean the good times. All fallen apart since Rodders got injured. It just looked old like the end.
This can’t be all down to Rodri though. I know he’s brilliant but he’s not freaking superman. Rodri with one leg is probably better than what we’ve got right now though.

Honestly, for those people not thinking we were in crisis - we are. ok?

3 goals on us in 15 minutes. Its inexcusable. Though he had a bad game against Spurs, I thought Gundo did better. But he got subbed out which I found curious. And for DeBruyne no less. Game turned from there. Gvardiol unlikely to see the pitch in the next game. If everyone is finally healthy, it should be Lewis-Dias-Akanji-Ake as a back line.

Likely not our year. I'll say it once, I'll say it twice - teams know how to play us. Pep will not adapt style of play - which is possession. League has turned more uptempo. Sit back, absorb pressure, and counter. I thought we played that well in the first half. We were moving around trying to get the ball back. But that disappeared in the second. Either because of old legs or I don't know.
