This deal helps us big style. Without it, Milner [as you suggest] and Richards may have had to be retained and would have left for nothing next year, but now we can get a fee for each player which should help us land a CB and, possibly, Fabregas, and we'd still be within that £49m net allowance.

RAWK have more to say than the rags/gooners so far. Some proper little hissy fits going on, which is a bit fucking rich coming from a club who would have fallen foul of FFP if they had actually been in Europe last year.

The funniest part is them arguing that it's a bonus. Like losing both homegrown and foreign player spots somehow benefits us.

Can't tell if they're lying or just stupid.

I was tempted to register to put them straight but they'd never accept it. If they want an even better deal than us then they just need to submit a 21 man squad which would be 17 FT + 4 of any HG type.
