Confirmed as 4+1. We're laughing.
Link? It's confirmed that it's 5 HG but I've not seen confirmation of the breakdown.

By the PA guy who broke the news in the first place.

MUEN also reporting 4+1, although they may have got it from same source.

Love the fact that the press think it's some sort of relaxation of the "punishment" when City made it quite clear they would only accept the punishment in the first place if it didn't really affect our participation in the CL that much.

On BBC website now

Hahaha, this is how a poster on Goonersweb reacted to the news. He has a history of being a complete ****, and he fucking hates City with a passion.

If you can read between the lines, this gives a stunning glimpse of just how corrupt football has become. UEFA are now ENCOURAGING the dopers to break the rules. There are actual benefits for breaking the fucking rules! And all you need is an endless money supply to play - the very factor these FFP rules are supposedly built on. Remember, a disease riddled whore has had to work for a living, what did your average UEFA official ever have to do except maybe fuck the whore who worked for a living? These cunts need to be killed.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/foo...man-squad.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/foo...man-squad.html</a>

So do the media who apologise for this blatant corruption with their watered down flash in the pan scandals that are carefully eased out of view a week later. Some of you know what I'm talking about. It takes too long to explain it, but when you know, you know.

Killed. They need to be killed.

YCMIU being lectured by a Gooner on corruption in Football - who was George Graham managing when he was openly taking back handers?

"Should a club be entitled to register a maximum number of 21 players on the A list, the minimum number of places exclusively reserved for 'locally trained players' shall be five instead of eight, of which a maximum of four shall be 'association-trained'," read a UEFA statement.

"Should a club be entitled to register a maximum number of 22 players on the A list, the minimum number of places exclusively reserved for 'locally trained players' shall be six instead of eight, of which a maximum of four shall be 'association-trained," continued UEFA.

For anyone wondering where the above came from. it's on the official UEFA website :- http://www.uefa.org/protecting-the-...-financial-fair-play/news/newsid=2116154.html
On Friday 16 May, settlement agreements were concluded with nine clubs who had not fulfilled the break-even requirements of the UEFA Financial Fair Play (FFP) Regulations. In relation to the provisions in the settlements concerning the number of players to be included in the A list for the 2014/15 UEFA club competitions, the UEFA Emergency Panel, meeting in Lisbon on Friday 23 May, already confirmed the relevant principles, which are as follows:

• Should a club be entitled to register a maximum number of 21 players on the A list, the minimum number of places exclusively reserved for 'locally trained players' shall be five instead of eight, of which a maximum of four shall be 'association-trained'; and

• Should a club be entitled to register a maximum number of 22 players on the A list, the minimum number of places exclusively reserved for 'locally trained players' shall be six instead of eight, of which a maximum of four shall be 'association-trained'.

All nine clubs which have signed settlement agreements will be subject to ongoing monitoring, and any case of non-compliance with the terms of their agreement will be automatically referred to the Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) Adjudicatory Chamber as per Article 15(4) of the Procedural Rules governing the CFCB.

UEFA also confirms that no reviews were requested of the settlement agreements, either by directly affected parties or by the chairman of the CFCB.
I especially like the last bit...

Still expect 1-2 foreign players to miss out on CL squad.

We have more than 16 of those players probably end of the transfer window.

5 homegrown, Hart, Clichy, Richards, Milner, Boyata, Rodwell, Sinclair.
Richards/Sinclair 100% to leave.
Milner, I dont know, doubt he would sign a new contract, but dont like the idea of him walking for free next season.

Hart, Clichy, Boyata, Milner, Rodwell, this could be our 5 home grown players in the CL squad. If we get a second GK that is English than it would be Boyata to make way for him, but is Hart 100% club grown too not just home grown by Uefa rules?c If he is than its ok and it could be Hart, second English GK, Clichy, Rodwell, Milner.

Still if we get Sagna, fernando, Benatia and maybe another foreign player like a second GK or a winger type, and no foreign players leave thats between 1-3 players over the foreign quota so 1-3 foreign players wont be included.

But this would be nearly a problem if we dont have any restriction as the original rule is 17+8, and having 18-19 foreign players would result the same...
