So really the sanctions have been considerably watered down and won't necessarily impact on the next 2 years? The club said it wouldn't have any impact on our transfer plans. The only thing that may have changed is the availability of Fabregas, but I think he could be accommodated within the restrictions if we really wanted to, I just not sure we want to.

When he said our transfer plans were not affected you have to understand that those plans took full account of impending restrictions and their impact. We planned for the UEFA attack and were not disappointed. (You'll notice how it is possible to conduct a discussion without resorting to puerile abuse.)
