are you mad... if you like fifa 09 there is no reason why you shouldnt like this one, the game play is more relistic,shooting is better, the keepers are unpredictable compared to everyother fifa game, cross field balls are quicker, corners are better...

Ok I'm convinced. I played the demo for a fair few hours and have to say the 360 dribbling has made the game improve in all areas. Shooting is much harder as you are rarely running on rails in a straight line. Your player needs to be properly balanced to connect true.

The biggest improvement for me are the animations. The way players will now stretch for the ball, reach a leg around an opposition player to steal it. A player like yaya toure is like a demolition ball and will run right through players.

The best moment for me was when striking for goal in a crowded penalty area a defender ran across the shot, as he had run to far he stretched his trailing leg to get to the ball but only managing to re direct the path of the ball into the opposite corner of the net.

It's definitely worth persevering with. Some of the breaks and attacks I have scoredfrom by switching the ball quickly and laying off perfect through balls have been great. The strikers actually run at the perfect time now.

I agree its been improved, but it seems to be. When a new feature is implemented they go over the top with how often it occurs.

For example, the blocking when defenders stick a leg out. I played my mate and the majority of passes hit the defender. Where in real life not everyone would have super fast reflexes. Its an improvement, certainly. But it could be improved on. Never happy me.

i also thought the demo was shit. I got lag in an offline game. poor showing from EA this.

Hopefully the lag is gone for the release

Its not lag, you cant get lag offline.

Could be screen tearing although I cant say i've noticed it

i downloaded it last night, enjoyed it. I can see me getting passed apart on xbox live though now the game is more fluid! enjoyable though. there's a few funny glitches, eg. on mine the players line up outside the tunnel rather than inside it.

Looks good though, i'll probably buy it.

I like it i think. Only played about 45 mins so it's hard to judge properly.

360 dribbling is hard to get used to. Keep thinking i can just glide past players with Messi but i keep running out of play.

The passing seems faster which i'm not sure i like so much as it makes the game seems faster - even on slow. It could be down to the game having 3 minute halves so everything seems rushed. I like to play 10 minute halves at a slow pace so i'm hoping i can still play at that same pace when the full game comes out.

The shooting seems better in the sense that it seems possible to rattle in a 30 yarder. There are loads of little animations that i love (the ref jumping over the ball).

The pitch still looks like something from an internet game though and they net doesn't buldge as much which somehow takes away a little bit of the satisfaction from scoring.

All in all, it feels really good. I can't wait for the full game to come out.

Played 10 games and won 9 and lost one on penalties, hard to score at first but pretty good when you get the hang of it.

Love it, can't wait for the final product!

A lobbed cech one-on-one before and he scrambled back and swiped it around the post just as it was corssing the line, looked amazing!
