FIFA investigation: No transfer ban

FA's was about payments to Sancho's agent (I think) as a way of getting round rules on signing youth players. A different matter to the UEFA one.

I think there is also one which is similar the UEFA one; the argument being that if City broke all those UEFA FFP rules, then does that mean they also broke FA rules.

It makes sense for the FA to look into the second one, although the impression I have is that it was pushed to do so by other big PL clubs. UEFA and FA have different FFP rules, but it seems unlikely that the FA one will get anywhere if the UEFA one doesn't - I'd expect it to have the same problems in proving anything.

Regards FFP. I think as we're affiliated to the FA that's why they are also investigating as we reported to them, although the FA didn't have any FFP regulations at that time

The real FA investigation is related to the agent being paid in the Sancho move from Watford

Think we should strengthen in the winter, just for the hell of it.
Should out a bid in for Kimmich, Henderson and Rashford (with no intention to buy), just to piss off the three sets of ****s!

The FA one is in relation to payments allegedly made to Jadon Sancho's dad, it's the PL that's possibly linked to the image rights issue as they should be part of a clubs wages (not the FA).

I was of the understanding that the common denominator of all 3 remaining cases was that they are all based more or less on the football leaks stolen emails. I hope this means the 3 cases will all be equally difficult to prove for UEFA and FA, but I have no real idea if this is true or not.
Here is a question for the legal eagles /experts on here. Can we automatically assume that if we win the UEFA case, then we are also safe in the FA FPP case? Our technical arguments about UEFA not having followed their own correct process may not apply to the FA investigation. I have at least not heard of any leaks there. So could "they" get us via FA if "they" fail to punish us via the UEFA line?

The common denominator of the outstanding FA ( Sancho) PL ( PL FFP) and UEFA (FFP) was more pandering to the history clubs that are hurt by our success using the leaks as a vehicle to induce further investigation.

We were always going to be guilty of the fifa one as they had already sanctioned against the FA, the fact that we followed our FA's guidance which turned out to be wrong naturally ensure we made some breaches of the fifa guidelines. A slapped wrist with the mitigating circumstances and first offence seems entirely proportionate.

The FA scouting vs inducement seems to be based on wording of contracts vs illegally obtained and possibly out of context emails.

The uefa ffp has been done to death but given the premier league ffp rules being significantly more generous than uefa think dippers failing uefa but passing PL in 2014 as an example. To reopen historic years under PL FFP they would properly need uefa to win their misleading argument to investigate city's historic books on closed years they have already signed off on that are outsides of usual limits of time to bring proceedings.

How likely is it that we’ll still cop a ban from the other investigations?

Think the last two would annoy just as many of our own. Better to start a preposterous denial campaign, ala Bayern with Sane; look how many pages that fed on here alone. :-)

We have already been punished for this offence some time ago and had it not been for some sad pathetic German rag shit stirring this whole thing could have been put to bed. But now it has and Sheikh Mansour will have to find some loose change from the back of the sofa to appease these numpty's.
We were punished by UEFA, not FIFA. This was totally different and related to playing a couple of lads from the Right to Dream in friendlies and trials before they turned 18. The UEFA one is still ongoing although I think we're safe with that one anyway, we're waiting for CAS to come back to us.
