Unable to string 2 passes together. Just have to hope USA don't score again and we can skank one.
Think it all comes down to money. More young kids player soccer in North America than any other sport but by the time they get into High School and certainly in the Colleges and Universities the major funding goes into American Football and Baseball
Better than Pearce’s “only dogs can hear, the poor bastards” voice. The US keeper has a really annoying husky voice.
I thought Walsh has been OK, Bronze has been mostly poor, did Parris come out, we might as well be playing with 10, Bright has been terrible.Stokes, Walsh and Bright a bit off the pace. Bronze not at her best either. USA not having to work too hard.
From the research I have seen, and some of my experiences coaching and playing whilst living here, I think it is only a matter of time before football overtakes baseball and/or hockey in popularity. Some of it is just demographics (barring any horrific actions taken by a Trump dictatorship, mind).Very true. Baseball has been losing a decent amount of popularity as well and american football is having far less turnout among youth since more research has gone into CTE and the long-term effects of playing. I genuinely do think in the next 10-15 years we could see an American side in the top 15-20 teams in the world but funding will definitely have to play a part.
Ah Jonathan, I was thinking of a different Pearce.BBC1
