Never happen for two simple reasons - one, money & the other is that there simply isn't enough physical aggression in the sport. Yanks need their violence and the sport will never see wages that compare to that of NBA, NFL & MLB much less NHL

NBA and Baseball are less contact sports than "Soccer". I think they don't get behind sports they can't dominate personally.

Why have the BBC gone with Dion Dublin, bar the usual rag connection. Its not as if he has played in a world cup, or at the highest level or managed. Surely he is best suited to homes under the hammer and get someone else in or was no other ex rag available

You’re underestimating how much the culture is changing in the metropolitan areas of the USA. The growth trajectory of the MLS and localised football leagues alone is impressive, and money (especially the commercial/advertising sort) follows interest/demand. Wages follow money. And so on.

On the grassroots, it will continue to be popular but there's simply no money in the game so majority of adolescents transition into the other sports if not already doing them in parallel. It'll never happen

There are so called educated people & parts of the US that continue to view the game as a 'communist sport' - true story

The MLS has very little chance of catching those leagues, if any at all. I'm strictly speaking of the players we're producing. I'm aware that the best will always choose to play in Europe, as they should.

Says everything about american sports when women are better than men at football.....

For me get Parris back on the wing and ever switch Daly or take her off for somebody like Stanway or Kirby to play up with Ellen White.
