The yanks looks far too good and I don’t think England will win this. They’re too sloppy on the ball and giving it away too easily.

I agree, its been hard to tell that she is playing.

NBA, Baseball are less contact sports than "Soccer". I think they don't get behind sports they can't dominate personally.

This is true as well which is probably why the women's team gets so much good attention & support in the US, they win & win often - at least their game is wonderful to watch

Baseball is a relatively stationary sport but watched any double plays, sliding into home or bench clearing brawls? NBA is extremely physical

On the grassroots, it will continue to be popular but there's simply no money in the game so majority of adolescents transition into the other sports if not already doing them in parallel. It'll never happen

There are so called educated people & parts of the US that continue to view the game as a 'communist sport' - true story

That has been the case, no disputing that. American sport have syphoned off talent in past decades.

But I work in data science, currently in the USA, where trends are where the money is made, and there is quite a bit of evidence showing the trend for football (with a few main contributing factors) is absolutely going in the “right” direction, which is not necessarily the case for baseball, for instance.
