Maybe in the past, yeah; definitely. But these days, with VAR, it's pretty much impossible to get away with it. Is VAR infallible? No; it makes mistakes. Particularly in "judgement" calls that are someone's opinion. But in line calls (that aren't subjective), you're pretty much guaranteed to be caught.
