Blade Runner. I just don't get the hype about it. You can also chuck in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Absolute garbage.
And the last Samauri to be fairDon't have an enormous problem with artistic license as long as it isn't badged as historically accurate - like no-one watches a Tarantino looking for true to life events (I hope).
But you were alright with the sound of music? :-)

Not at all. It wouldn't be my favourite genre, that's true. But Close Encounters is one of my favourite films. Love Silent Running, the original SW trio, the second and third Star Trek films (Wrath of Khan and The Search for Spock), 2001, the first two Terminator films, Capricorn One, Outland. I just can't get into BR, and I'm not gone on the unrelenting darkness of the film. But it's got a huge (you might say, "massive"!) cult following now, so I would appear to be in the minority. So be it.Just an honest question, jh. (Blade Runner's up there in my top five films, out of hundreds that I've seen). My brother's got no time for it, but he says science fiction films in general bore him. Is that the case with you?
