Fined £260,000 for Villa pitch invasion.

Sure. That’s because a £30k fine is peanuts to us, but fine a Moldovan club the same and it’s a big deal for them. UEFA should link fines to clubs’ turnovers.
A fair point, but if you look at the list there are some fairly wealthy clubs getting fined peanuts or even nothing.

No more celebration pitch invasion also of anyone goes on the pitch they get banned! It’s like you’ve had your fun now fcuk of the pitch for good!

Seriously though player and fan safety is why these rules are in place now..

That last sentence says it all. WHY, OH WHY IS IT SO HARD TO GET THIS THROUGH TO PEOPLE? When someone attacks and seriously injures a player? When someone seriously hurts a child? Or when someone sneaks a knife in and stabs a player or a fan? Don’t tell me they can’t sneak one in we all know it isn’t impossible!!

As everyone keeps telling us, we are not living in the 80s when it was fisticuffs and drunken behaviour. Now it’s drugs and knives!!

Sorry for the rant but as one of the people who did get hurt, not last season but the invasion before that, I feel extremely strongly about it.

Expecting fairness is not a way of trying to justify our fans’ invasion.
Ok Other clubs didn’t get the punishment you expected, or wanted, the point is WE DID and we will always be treated differently. Rather like the way the rich and the poor get treated. Life isn’t fair. I know. I had the injured shoulder and leg for a while. Maybe I should have complained to the club but what would have been the point? They wouldn’t know who did it anymore than I did.
