Fined £260,000 for Villa pitch invasion.

Thats a lot of money...dunno how the Club can physically stop that many people invading the pitch
All those who invaded the pitch just need to cough up £50 a piece and the committee members at The FA can look forward to 5* comfort with fine dining whenever England have a match. Bastards. What is the point of a rule over which the club has no control, other than arming the stewards with cattle prods?

Fuck me that is a lot of money and what can the club do if morons run onto the pitch , on those twats this is , we are everyones cashpoint and blues should fucking know that
Morons are those sanitising the game

Was anyone hurt, no.

Do not join the two. Those celebrating and those out for a quick pound

We should ask why this is all of a sudden a big deal.

You saw what happened just this week when fans take to the pitch , it is not a risk worth taking and the club get in trouble , people need to grow up and stop doing it and breaking stuff

Nowadays it’s an indication of thoughtlessness & moronic behaviour

I don’t agree with that. After aguero scored the emotion of the game took over large amounts of people. Running on the pitch was natural.

It’s been kinda a tradition for the last 100 years or so and is ingrained in English football culture. Obviously idiots causing violence or abusing players or are idiots, but I wouldn’t call everyone who runs on the pitch a moron.

The old fella with dementia - I think- that went viral. Ran on the pitch at the end of the game with his son. He definitely wasn’t a moron and was a genuine fan. Just like the thousands that went on against qpr, Wigan, Blackburn, villa.

If 9320 were to happen instead this season would anyone here NOT go onto the pitch, IE control yourself enough to not be wrapped up in that moment? Not sure I could.

It all seems to be ignoring the fact of the emotions involved in that game towards the end.

Its all for the greater good I know but there are times when it just happens. Anyways we now need to learn, smash coaches - No punishment.
If enjoying the moment includes goading or attacking players then yes, thats what they're trying to deter.
