Saying he doesn’t understand his defensive role. If he did he’d be on another level as he has great attacking assets and can hit a dead ball etc.
But Delaney in particular picked apart his lack of defensive instinct and understanding.
He reckons it’s not a switch off of concentration as that would intimate that he understands the role to start with.

He can hit a dead ball. That’s it. One good pass in 50, so basically can’t pass. Can’t mark, can’t tackle, so basically can’t defend.
 
Splatterface and Dixon have to be the worst commentators on TV. They witter on or stay silent in key moments, but as soon as Palmer, Bellend or TAA get in the action they come alive. Both games saw good work from City players, but they hardly ever got a positive mention, and to claim TAA is the best passer on the pitch is like saying Donald Trump is a feminist
