Firework in City end tonight........

Just to confirm I was stood on the row in front of where this braindead idiot dropped the firework, my ears are still ringing slightly, the little girl could potentially have suffered ear damage. I know a little a bit about noise levels through 30 + years in industry, and also the effects of extreme noise in confined spaces, which this was, for those closest to it. Sincerely hope he's charged and banned, just a pity it didn't explode whilst he still had hold of it. I'd even take him to meet my cousin, scarred for life because of a firework thrown at him by a 'mate'......

i'm not defending it, it's a stupid thing to do. However some people are making it sound like he threw a hand grenade. watch this video, 0.33 these were going off all game in napoli. Much more dangerous imo.

Seems to be a slight change in attitude here friend - but it shouldn't take all these Bluemooners to point out the difference between a bit of harmless 'fun' and a stupidly irresponsible and ignorant (not to mention criminally dangerous) act by someone presumably old enough to know better (if he is over 6)
Incidentally - if your ears were still ringing over 4 hours after the incident I would have thought that would have been enough on its' own to convince you of the potential danger
