Yeah that Hull away game was great. Even though we lost it with the might of Dibble, Gleghorn, Gayle, Lake , White etc I loved the atmosphere, it was crazy. Being from near Maine Road i'd been to loads of home games but away games were different, especially then! i was only 11 so went with my uncle and that gave me the taste for it. The trouble was pretty funny, my uncle shitting himself but i'd seen far worse at Maine Road with Luton (83), Rags v Dippers (85 fa cup semi) and a few others. Didn't help that we lost to Oldham at home 4-1 shortly after with Roger Palmer getting a hat-trick. That season though, i went a few away games Oldham away when Megson scored, Walsall away 3-3, Stoke lost 3-1 on Boxing Day, Blackburn lost 4-0 (hillsborough day),Oxford away won 4-2 and every one of them was eye opening (Stoke especially).
As fun as it was then, we never had the players that we have now.
So Dan, if you do hear any moaning twats on sunday if we aren't performing the way we could be just bear in mind...... We're in a much better position than we was then!

Absolutely brilliant day out. Fans as well as team well up for it. Proud of the boys. Mancini loved the chants at him. Here's to a few more like it ;o)

100 posts mate and you'll be able to start threads bloody hell is it 23 years ago can still see them chess board shirts huddersfield had on and willie thorne in nets for em mcnab1 stewart adcock and white 3 each and andy may with a pen for them. Them were the days.

That will be why then, yeah was only 10 at the time and jibbed in at 3/4 time to catch goals 8, 9 and 10. Andy May was a big blue too...... I'll let you take credit for posting it then. I reckon a fair few on here won't know of this game. Them kits were f***ing awful!
