First ever City game

First game I ever remember was the Wigan and Gillingham games in the playoffs 98/99 on the tv and radio, was 6 at the time. Then I went to pretty much every game at home of the 99/00 season with the family but can't remember any of them.

The first game I remember going to was when we smashed Everton 5-0 at home (00/01 season), just before Christmas, everyone singing 'you should of gone Christmas robbing'. Remember it well because I was at the front of the Kippax in a wheelchair for the first time ever because I has fractured my foot playing football.

Not a bad way to start.. Aged 8, first live game and not really knowing who Manchester City were

I think mine was villa at home 75-76 with my best mate from primary school and someone that worked for his dad. Sat in the platt lane on the maroon benches and got the teams the wrong way around as villa had some maroon on the kit but we didn't.....

Rags at Swamp, Buzzer got the only goal of the game. 1969.

City vs Huddersfield Town Saturday November 7th 1987

I was 10 years old, I was at St Edward's RC Primary school on yew tree road at the time. me and a few lads from my class trained at platt lane for a couple of weeks for a kick about on the pitch at half time, we were put in bright yellow kits with "action for jobs" wrote on the front(some government initiative I think). I Was taken to matches before this but can't remember the details.
