First gig:

RUSH at Birmingham NEC at 14 so would have been 1980 ish

Saw them again at MEN last year, still awesome

Earliest, but not sure of the order were Wizard (FTH or Belle Vue - can't remember which as one was called off), 10cc (FTH), Curved Air (Apollo) and Rory Gallagher (Apollo). All around 73-75.
After that saw loads while at Salford University, as there would often be a band at Salford on a Friday night and another at Manchester or UMIST on the Saturday.

Saw Blondie at the Apollo and loved the closeness of the gig. Saw them at the arena a year later and whilst the sound was better I still preferred the Apollo one.
