First Trip To Manchester

If you're going to start sentences with the word "So," don't come back until you've got out of that habit. I refer you to the thread on blue moon about "..things that irritate you..." where this has been commented upon several times.
A particulalrly harsh thrashing might be administered in Mary D's if you start any of that malarkey as you order your beer. And I don't want to hear any of that "Can I get...." as you make your order.
As you were.

Anybody who starts a sentence with “So” should be taken outside and shot.

I'll be in Manchester that week staying at my partner's flat literally across the road from the Museum of Science of Industry in Castlefield.
If you need someone to go for a pint with, or a couple of tourist guides, let me know.
We're both early retirees so have loads of time on our hands so more than happy to show you the sights.
Kidnapping alert

Should I say, "May I have ...." Canadians aren't very strict on their grammar honestly.

Piccadilly Gardens - it's full of beautiful artisan street traders and it's a lovely place to hang out during the day and have a picnic in the Manchester sunshine.

Ask around some of the traders if you can buy some 'spice'. It's a local delicacy, a beautiful aromatic herb that goes with all kinds of different dishes. Make sure you take some home in your suitcase for your friends and family.

I would love a guide. PM me, it won't let me PM you.
