Evidence of what? The FFP case was common knowledge so we'd a ton of bad debt in terms of wages for those spongers that came in under Hughes.

As for the wage structure, I've it on good authority, and that was brought in just after the title winning under Pellers, and it's why so many players signed new deals. They restructured their contracts and their basic wage was decreased by incentives skyrocketed. Only 4 players in the squad are on the basic wages the media quotes-Joe, Vinny, Yaya & Kun who are all 40K per week higher than the next tier, due to being "club ambassadors"(captain/star player). Our basic wage is 80K excl. bonuses, with the 4 mentioned on 120K ex bonuses.

I think there is a point to this thread but worded wrong.

When we won the league in 2012 that should of been the start of a domination of the English game. Whilst we haven't done too badly we kind of won the league then went out with a whimper. After a shite season after we then bounced back winning the league and a cup. We then haven't challenged for a title since. Each time we should of kicked on we have stalled or even gone backwards. Hopefully this year is the last year of plodding on. Cups are a good way of glossing over a bad year.

As for domination, do you all just expect everyone else to just roll over? this isn't like when the rags were winning everything, they could just go and outspend everyone else and stock the squad with top class players and have a world class bench whilst everyone else looked on in envy. Now everyone can match us in spending if they choose to do so.

No one will dominate the game again, want domination go support Bayern or Celtic.

This year has been a transitional year, next year you'll hopefully see the rewards, still doesn't mean we'll win anything though.

There's plenty of it. His word for a start. You think Mancini wanted the players we bought in? Sinclair? Garcia? Rodwell? The two he wanted that we did buy were a)cheap and b)flops to balance that argument though(Jovetic & Maicon). He was openly courting De Rossi and RVP. We know this as fact mate. I understood the reasons for not buying RVP tbh. But not strengthening that year for whatever reason cost us a stranglehold on the league, as RVP fired them pigs to a title whereas keeping RVP from them would have seen us lift it 3 times, and that changes the discussion.

Ultimately, that's the sport though and it's all what ifs. Had Mancini won back to back titles there's no guarantee he left or could replicate what Pellers first season was.

If it's true that he had to sell for RVP, fair enough. But we played 2 up top at the time and did need 4. We lost Tevez, didn't replace like with like in terms of quality(Jovetic).
