That was a pisstake extrodinaire!!
How about Mainemen falling madly in love with azul, azul and tearing into people who had a go at her, then finding out it was a bloke,no wonder he changed his username and went nuts.
ps.the dregs of the rags are all over this thread.

Link?
the usual place, the usual mod getting dragged into this shit by them.
Everytime this comes up the exact same ones are onto it like a flash with the naming of the mod on here.

I used to get on well with Fixer on here, remember well the evening in question and de niro offering (if not setting off...) to go and help him out.

Wasn't long before it all started getting fishy, real shame.
Bill got a phone call about 10 mins before saying Fixer had to rush to hospital iirc and not to pop round

A real piss take if the story wasn't true... Well done for doing that anyway, mate.

That really upset me that thread!
My wife and I had not long just had our baby girl, and after I got back from watching the derby I just popped onto bm to check the forums reaction etc......BANG!!
I was in tears (seriously!) at the thought of what that poor lad must of been going through!
It took me less than 1 day to believe it was NOT true!
Various reasons as to why I thought that, same as other posters I suppose??
I think Toma made a great point in stating although it was a sad day for bm...most posters showed amazing grace, emphathy and most of all love that night!..non moreso than Bill!
Strange one indeed!!

Ps a poster did state on the original thread that he knew the fixer and said he wouldnt make such a story up!....he never came back and vouched for him though!

I would much rather talk about the time Balo's sister popped onto BM - that was a great night ;-)

There were a few things that the whole fixter story taught me....

1. When someone is in need on Bluemoon this site puts all football related subjects to rest and offer an ear to who ever it may be.

2. Even supporters from other clubs share their utter most remorse for someone they haven't met before that doesn't even support their club on their own club fan forum...

3. Even when a heart breaking spontanious story like the one fixter posted is bought out after a derby day defeat United fans still can't help but pick out little details from the story accusing it as a fake and a story to side track a derby defeat...

So in all it taught me Bluemoon is fuckin top and like a family when it comes to serious shit despite what differences posters have had in the past, and that United fan's are cunts when it comes to sharing some sympathy and everything is fabricated into covering a derby defeat!!

It may very well been bullshit but when something like that is read you don't instantly think bull crap (well I didn't anyway) as you would begin to think why would anyone make such a story up...

The way bluemoon came about that day was brilliant real or fake story everyones reaction was 100% real....

Virtually 24 hours earlier on Bluemoon we had a thread "Anybody up all night". This was initially a chat amongst us about not being able to sleep due to the excitement of it being the eve of Derby Day and then it changed due to a horrible event.

Previously that evening "Birchwood Ginger Ste" had lost his Best mate who had collapsed and died in his arms during a normal 5 a side kick around, this Lad had only just got married and presuming he is the same age as my former work collegue Birchwood GS could only have been mid thirties.

I cant swear to it blind; but I am sure Fixer claimed to know the Guy and posted in this thread.

Seeds of an idea perhaps ?

I am glad the Mods are letting us finally discuss this - because only through discussion can it finally be put to bed.

The thread is in the mods 'cellar' - on there is a post saying someone played poker with fixers wife a few days before. That poster will know for sure I'd guess.

That poster could come forward or a mod could try and contact him - can't see either of those things happening though. Alternatively of course fixer comes forward and tells us himself.

I can see this being a mystery forever.
yeah mate, i played poker with her a bit (even had a few pm's from fixer on here about it, nothing interesting, just got that his name was Dave), ive forgotten what her name was on sky poker though so for all i know she could be playing with me right now but i wouldnt know it was her

Thanks for that, didn't realise it wasn't face to face. looks like it's hanging around 'K' entrance looking for a Chinese NDJ in a multicolourse Adidas jacket then ;-)

Just thought - have you deleted the PM's - if not can a mod - thinking Damocles rather than de niro - he'll just break Bluemoon ;-) - revive them? Might have her online name on there?
