Absolute joke... Was gna spend New Years Eve in Newcastle after the Sunderland game !.. Long journey up there hanging out your arse on New Years Day !..

Just spend New Years Eve in Newcastle before the City game in Sunderland... simples

Sounds like an excellent plan!

The Sunderland change on New Years Day has fucked up my NY plans. I was going to go to Sunderland on NYE and have a few drinks throughout the day and then I've got tickets to the last ever Warehouse Project at Piccadilly Station on NY's Day. It's from 12noon on the 1st until 5am on the 2nd. Now Sunderland has moved - not good!

It gets worse I was wrong.

30th december: liverpool v newcastle.

1st jan: sunderland v city.

3rd jan: city v liverpool.

And the Rags get to play on the 31st and the 4th. Great

This is going to cost us

They have 7 games in December including away games in London, QPR and Fulham, Villa and a trip to Basel.
We have 6 and our away days are West Brom and Chelsea.

What does that have to do with anything?
If we were playing on the 31st rather than the 1st (which we should) we would have 7 games in december.

The fact they have 4 away games and we have 3 (including jan 1st) is basic principle of the fact we both cant play at home the same day.

They're probably at home more than us the months preceeding and following december.

I'd love to get the person who made these changes to travel to Chelsea and back on a Monday night the inconsiderate tw**!!
Yep
Been looking at train fares foR the following morning, the cheapest is now at over £100!
Fares to where? £30.50 Advance Euston-Piccadilly at 06 17 then at 09 00, or down to £11.50 on the 10.40.

Or £7.50 Advance on the 23 30 to Wolverhampton, then £29 to Manchester any train in the morning - not sure if and where you could get your head down in the station for 4 hours in the middle of the night!

I've got 2 tickets available for the Villa match in block 303.
coming up from Bristol for the match & my 2 mates have dropped out.
Happy to sell @ face value (£38) or for less if you're genuinely short of cash.

One day between us/Sunderland and us/Liverpool is an absolute disgrace, a season sabotage attempt just like our "coincidental" 6 away games after each CL match while Stretford have 6 home games. Makes my blood boil but I'm just being "paranoid" so don't mind me.
We also have 6 home games before every Champions League game.

Just remember that we have a B squad good enough to beat Sunderland, so that we can play the full A squad against Liverpool!

Still got my 2 tickets for sale!
If I'm coming by train which station should I aim for & would I be able to get a bus to the ground?
Thanks for any help!
