Good news regarding the dortmund game. Wouldn't like to go into a Derby cold. At least the champs league games can tick us over if Wolves gets canned.
This made me chuckleI'm fucked if I'm going to jeopardy they can fuck off
They've caved in mate, spineless fuckers all round at the Premier league, fa etcHaving read the forum clearly there are individuals who have come from abroad, or even travelling within the UK with train and hotels booked. This seems a very polarised debate on the forum. There is no right or wrong. Personally I can not understand why all other aspects of society continue to function and a footy match has to be cancelled. I would argue that a full stadium with a minute's silence and the crowd singing the new national anthem would mean more than a cancellation.Respect is mutual. If individuals did not wish to attend of course they could stay at home. I suspect the ground would have been full one way or another.
Yes…Serious question, does the national anthem now change? God save the King?
Bennyboy - I am sure there are a lot of Bennyboy's up in Scotland but there is one that posts regarding a very famous singer. I just thought I would ask if it were you!Sorry I jumped the gun.
I thought the funeral was the day of the Wolves game.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion about canceling the pl fixtures this weekend. What I would say I’m miffed that games have been called off because we could have given the world a rendition of the queen is dead god save the king. The other side of me says this is respect of our monarch of 70yrs. A very difficult time.

But the burning question is will ‘our gracious’ remain?Of course.
Me too, fifty quid out of pocket with train tickets which are non refundable. Cheers prem league, fa knobsBut the burning question is will ‘our gracious’ remain?
My arse
Ruined my weekend, fek off
Monday for the funeral, but foolishly it looks like they may have pulled the wrong fixtures, as they're now worried that next weekend there will be policing/organisational issues which force their hand.I don't see how they can pull the wolves game if the dortmund game is going ahead - presuming the funeral isn't on the Saturday.
Possibllity next Saturday's game could be on.Monday for the funeral, but foolishly it looks like they may have pulled the wrong fixtures, as they're now worried that next weekend there will be policing/organisational issues which force their hand.

Premier League clubs fear more games will be postponed next weekend
Premier League clubs are fearful of losing further fixtures next weekend due to policing and logistical issueswww.theguardian.com
Something like a million fans across all levels of football, plus how many play over a weekend from kids to lower tiers, and sunday leagues? It's not just premier league though. It's kids' football upwards. The default position for anything now is a lockdown. They've stopped weather forecasts out of respect.
The FA and PL will only award The Arse the title in the same way CWFC got a title on average number of points - based on a rule that they made up mid-season.Cancel the fucking season and have done with it, lol
