It would be nice but I’d be surprised if this week happens. In recent years they’ve confirmed the SF dates around 10-12 days after the QF are played which would be in the second half of next week. That’s been the case even when it was obvious what days the SF would be played on because one team had to play on Sunday due to having a game on the preceding Thursday.
Once the telly and plod have agreed, it still needs Brent Council to give it the rubber stamp.

To be fair to Sky they would have liked nothing better than having City v Villa and Arsenal v Palace (both games with top five implications) later in the season but couldn’t do it due to Villa and Arsenal both potentially having CL fixtures. Forest v Brentford could be safely scheduled for pretty much any midweek before the end of the season.

I’d guess it will almost certainly be then. It could theoretically be brought forward to the midweek of 13/14 May but I very much doubt we’d accept playing a few days before the final unless there was no other possible date available which isn’t the case here.
