There’s no logical reason why the tv companies can’t announce their first games at the same time as the fixtures are announced. Not that bothered what they do, it’s just about cheap travel for me.Agreed; little point in publishing release dates then not keeping to them. Especially for supporters travelling long distance with accommodation etc for matches, who need as long as possible ideally.

Don't forget there will be a weekend where both the us and United and 2 of the top London clubs are playing on the same day thus giving the TV companies a "Super Sunday Derby Day Special".

I expect we'll be away on the opening day - somewhere on the south coast, and then away on the final day - somewhere on the, er, south coast!
