Fixtures - Southampton at home first

Re: fixtures

i'll be particularly be looking out for our fixtures on the following weekends.

22/9
6/10
27/10
10/11
24/11
8/12

these are league dates following the champions league group stage games. last season we got royally stuffed by playing away (including chelsea, liverpool and the rags) every league fixture following a champions league group game. conversely the rags played at home after every one of theirs. if something similar happens again there's definitely a fix. baconface moaned like fuck a few seasons ago about having to play two or three league games away after champions league games.

As someone pointed out, that worked out fine, we lost one game.

And as I pointed out, that's far too simplistic a view to take. Playing away meant we were unable to rest some of ours bigger stars (Silva etc) as we weren't at home, which may well have led to further fatigue further down the line.

It's never as cut and dried as, "we won 3, drew 2 and lost 1" is it.
