It strikes me as when they brought Ronaldo and Kaka, so Robben and Snejder left (both incredible players in their prime).

It does matter. Money talks. Throw enough of it at anything and you will eventually get what you want.

However, once the figures demanded become higher than our board deem they’re willing to part with then I can understand why they’d walk away. I just wish sometimes, for certain players, their spend ceiling would be a bit higher.

Doesn’t make the slightest difference if the player has his heart set on a different club.

The agent is refuting a report that Man City asked him to try to steer Writz to the club. He seemed to be trying to clarify that he isn't trying to steer Wirtz to us. In essence he isn't doing our bidding.

You aren't being thick that article is horribly written.
 
Just like Musiala, Bayern wont let Wirtz leave Germany and the lad probably doesnt want to either. Unless Alonso goes to Madrid and he follows him there but Madrid got other issues.

He was the driving force in an invincible season in which they almost won 3 trophies. He was Leverkusen’s youngest player and the Bundesliga’s youngest goal scorer. He puts up good numbers in European competitions ever since he was 18. He did his ACL and come back stronger than ever as if he was never injured. All this at 21.

He’s great. The only comparable players are Phil, Palmer & Musiala. The latter has just signed a new contract on ridiculous money.
