My gut says this is a player that we need to pull out the stops for but maybe in summer 2025.

Absolutely. €150m gives Leverkusen a lot of scope to invest in their squad further. We've seen what our £100m has done for Villa, who spent it wisely under a decent manager.It would be interesting to see Leverkusen’s reaction if a club paid up and submitted an astronomical bid.

It might be premature, but the £100m+ would give us the chance to buy who we like as his replacement.

Think I would, but the decision would be left with Kevin, would depend whether he thinks he's up to another full season with us,or whether he'd be happy not playing every week,and whether he fancies Saudi, not sure he would.I’d do it. Time waits for no man.
