Bayern bound based on what? I imagine the same social media information we all have, and that accounts for absolutely nothing.
The idea of having a 'main man' is not right, IMO, especially for new players joining - you have to earn it, and Phil has to compete for that with anyone coming in. Phil is also coming off a very troubled season, clouded by injury and illness. He, along with everyone else, will need to show the desire to make positions their own.

I have never knowingly seen Wirtz play, or haven't especially noticed him. I have no idea if we are genuinely in the race, or not at all. Last night I watched some highlight reels and he looks to be a truly special player, as did Georgios Samaras.
