KDB will do incredibly well to come back to his previous level.
This is a serious injury at any age but at 32 and with his previous issues it's a huge injury.

Isn't it the same injury he had at the end of last season? It's just that he'll be out for longer because he decided to have surgery this time.
I am sure it is, but the facts are he has had numerous injuries for the last 4 seasons, if he had stayed fit during that time there would for me be no doubt whatsoever that he would have been the world's best player.
He has struggled to play 3 games a week for a long time, no chance will he be able to do it if he comes back fit and healthy.

I hope we look at Wirtz now as he is the future, maybe Olmo now and Wirtz next season?

We have youngsters like Oscar and Palmer that would be ready for the first team in about two years from now. I personally don't see the need to sign Olmo and Wirtz, maybe one of them but not both.
