Name some!Champions League certainly helps but i don't think you can say 100% absolutely that elite players won't move to clubs without champions league football. There are plenty examples of where it's happened, including to us.

For other teams? I'd say Chelsea haven't had too much issue recruiting players lately. Im not a massive Enzo Fernandez fan myself but he went there off the back of winning the world cup and was highly sought after.

Chelsea throw out mental offers to players who don't have anything better. What choice did Fernandez have, go back to Benfica and earn a pittance each week or bank himself tens of millions and move to Chelsea. Easy choice.For us? Tevez, Yaya Toure, Silva, Dzeko.

I can only assume that this view comes from social media sources speaking about who the club wants to buy because it does not come from the club. Joining a club as well resourced as ours, on good wages and one that is capable of challenging for the Premier league title is an attractive prospect in of itself. Players will forego a season of CL football if the project is enticing enough.

As always we'll operate professionally and bring in the best available. The results on the pitch (not this season of course) speak for themselves.

I'm not sure one way or the other what will happen with this transfer. My gut is it probably wont happen. All I was saying was you can't absolutely write off a transfer on the basis of no CL football. I was asked for examples so I gave them.

He's excellent, I think it would be KDB-esque transfer in terms of impact on our style of play and his importance to the team.Honestly, is he that good? Been spoke about like prime Messi.
He's sort of like a Foden (playing well) and KDB hybrid.
