wirtz may indeed end up there but dont misunderstand that bild is no more than a propaganda machine for the bayern munich and always has been.
 
Even if we ignore the Bild news - i feel it’s unwise to go hots for a player where 10 different people are whispering so and so in his ear.
His father is already connected to Bayern and a German player will prioritise Bayern over others.
Even if we get him at 150million and 400k a week salary - if would hate to see Bayern lurking in the background as soon as he is out of the German national team - talking about how homesick he is or what not.

That’s why it’s unwise to sign La Masia players too.
Don’t need another Eric Garcia or Torres.

If he ain’t committed - move on. Go for Simmons or Cherki and compensate his goals and assists from midfield by signing a proper goal scoring winger.

Since we are in a state of total rebuild - I would prefer someone arriving before the CWC and getting used to our midfield.

if that's true, then city will already know that and won't be wasting time on him.

if city are truly interested we would have already had a preliminary conversation with his people and will have a good idea where we stand.

He’s a very good player not world class , but he isn’t a creative 10 which is what we need he’s more a second striker which now we have Marmoush we don’t need. Doesn’t matter anyway he’s gone and good luck to anyone trying to get him out of that ridiculous chelsea contract.
